For the very first time, South African audiences will be able to admire original Dada artworks from the early part of the 20th century, in the exhibition <<Dada South?>>, which runs from 12 December 2009 to 28 February 2010 at the Iziko South African National Gallery.
Pro Helvetia Cape Town is hosting three high profile Visual Arts residencies in this final part of 2009. Laurence Bonvin, Jérôme Leuba and Dunja Herzog all explore both Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Visual artist Marianne Halter and musician Mario Marchisella present works in exhibitions and are performing in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg in Oktober 2009. Marchisella performs also every Thursday with Johannesburg based João Orecchia and differents local musical guests.
The South African choreographer will be in residency in Switzerland fom the beginning of July up to the end of August. He will be working on his new production.
