The Bowling Club with Velma and Mario Batkovic

The objectives of the club are to dialogue across discipline with artists from around the world in the hope of increasing cultural activity, awareness and standards to the benefit of young people in Cape Town.   While in Cape Town, Mario will also workshop with percussionist Kesivan Naidoo (Beat Bag Bohemia) and Angolan musician, Adamu. 

Velma will work with Jaco Bouwer, a South African theatre director and Lesego Rampolokeng, a South African writer and performance poet as part of their latest creation called "Velma Superstar". This large-scale production is planned to tour South(ern) Africa later in the year.
